The 13th Solar Term - LIQIU

The Beginning of Autumn (LIQIU) is the 13th solar term, and the sun reaches 135° of the yellow longitude.

It is the first solar term in autumn, marking the official start of the Mengqiu season. "Autumn" refers to the summer to cool off. In the beginning of autumn, the trees begin to shed their leaves, so there is a saying that "the fall of leaves knows autumn". There are three seasons in the beginning of autumn: the cool breeze arrives, the white dew drops, and the chilling cicadas scream. After the beginning of autumn, the weather gradually became cooler, and the heat gradually dissipated.
